Our Story

We are truly grateful to be part of the lasting moments that held people together when it felt like the world was falling apart.

When our country was hit by the pandemic in March 2020, we were like all other business owners: Everything came to a screeching halt, and we had no idea what to do next.

We’ve been working on creative ventures and event styling for 7 years. When our city went into so far as a military lockdown in mid-2020, we knew that occasions and the events industry would be on hiatus for an even longer time compared to other businesses.

No events in sight. Bills still coming in. Would we give up? No. We got creative.

When life as we knew it changed overnight, we found that people were looking for beauty and joy anywhere they could find it.

Dried flowers are truly beautiful on their own and can last for years with minimal care. With the love that goes into all of our work, people came to treasure these pieces that they can hold on to for a longer time than possible.
Maybe it’s because dried flowers could be both a house plant and home décor, or because not everyone who appreciates flora and fauna has the green thumb or the patience to care for them.
For some, it’s an appreciation of these bespoke bouquets as a form of art since we work with color, form, and texture. For many, it’s simply the effortless charm and nostalgic quality of dried flowers.

As everyone tried to go on with life as normal during the strangest of times, more clients saw our work on social media.

Our arrangements became anniversary gifts, proposal bouquets, a floral touch for a newborn’s photo shoot, a subtle background accent in video meetings, a birthday gift delivered long-distance, and a pick-me-up for someone quarantined at home.

Our business and our creativity could have withered up completely. Yet, Dried Flowers PH blossomed quietly and unassumingly. Our first collection sold out in 2 hours. We found ourselves working on five custom arrangements a week, to five arrangements a day. Slowly, eventually, as restrictions eased, we are now back to styling events aside from continuing to create pieces for gifting – to others, or to yourselves.

Ours is a lesson in using creativity to thrive in the most challenging of times. We are truly grateful to be part of the lasting moments that held people together when it felt like the world was falling apart.
