It’s the most wonderful time of the year. It’s time to deck the halls, and the dining tables too.
Our regular client loves Christmastime and requested us to help her change the mood in her home. We were happy to bring in some Yuletide cheer to her dining room, where she and her family have their meals and also entertain guests.
The dining table is the focal point and center of activity in the dining room. It’s where everyone comes to converge and bond over a good meal and good conversation. Even if you don’t deck the halls in your home with holiday décor, decking out the dining table creates a festive holiday mood, whether or not you’re having people over.
We came up with this eucalyptus and dried seasonal blooms as a centerpiece that spans nearly the full length of the dining table but is not too wide so that there’s still ample space to fit all of those wine glasses and other dinnerware.
Our client wanted the dining table to have a similar theme as her creative Christmas tree, comprised of Chanel and Hermes boxes. We chose candlesticks close to that Hermes shade of orange, and some amber glass vessels and ribbon for that Chanel noir. The more subtle shape and shade of green of eucalyptus seemed like the perfect base, instead of spiky, deep pine greens.
To add textures without bulk, we used elements of varying heights and made sure that people can still see each other across the table. We’ve all been at tables where we’re almost playing hide and seek with the person across us because the centerpiece has blocked the view.
Tying in that holiday vibe, we added a few Christmas balls made of paper and ribbon, inspired by unwrapping the paper and ribbon from a Christmas present or unboxing a Chanel or Hermes treasure.
Because the flowers in the centerpiece are dried, the client only had to dress her table once for the holidays. She doesn’t have to worry about leaves turning brown or losing shape. With dried arrangements, you can focus on other things during the Christmas rush, like making your list and checking it twice.
We regularly style homes, office spaces, and special occasions aside from creating custom arrangements. Please send us a message at info@driedflowersph.com and we’ll be happy to help.

The biophilia hypothesis states that humans instinctively seek a connection with nature. This is partly why people are willing to shell out a premium for spaces with a view, and why most hotels, restaurants, and workplaces have some form of landscaping or potted plants.
How an office space looks makes a significant impression on the people conducting business there. How it looks and feels to a client could be a major deciding factor or the final clincher for signing off on a deal. If an office looks well thought out and well cared for, that also leaves an impression that the company also thinks things through as a whole and takes care of its clients.
Those working in the office are spending a large part of their waking hours in that space, so it needs to be designed for productivity and wellness. Potted plants and flowers are an easy and purposeful way to enhance an office. They add a final touch to office décor without taking up too much space or being too distracting.
Dried flowers are so chic and add visual interest to any office space. Even if the interiors have very minimal colors and lines, a vase of dried flowers adds volumes of style.
Choose a dried flower arrangement that is proportionate to the surface and area that it will be placed in. A more voluminous arrangement in a medium-sized vase looks great in a reception area that has very little or no other décor.
Tiny arrangements on smaller tables are perfect for meetings in twos or threes, still leaving enough space for coffee cups or mobile phones on the surface.
A vase of flowers is a great way to prevent clutter on surfaces. It would be easy to leave piles of papers on top of this cubby, but with the vase here, people are guided to shelve documents properly.
For many people running an office by themselves without an office custodian or much other assistance, low maintenance is key with office décor. Dried flowers are easy to move around as needed, and don’t need to be watered. Go on business trips for days, or work at home or in transit without having to worry if your desk plant will be dead by the time you come back to the office.
When you already have a lot on your mind about work, it truly helps to have one less thing to worry about. By decorating with dried flowers, you can focus more of your time and attention on your business, while still maintaining a beautiful space both you and your clients can feel good in.
All arrangements from this post are custom-made for our Client.

Wedding planning is never easy, and you'll need all of the assistance you can get. The key is to plan ahead of time, with a mood board, inspirational photos, and a color palette that reflects your personality as a couple. Your plans can be carried out with the right guidance and wedding suppliers.
Your wedding suppliers should be your most-trusted experts during the planning process. You should feel free to explore what it is you want and have an honest conversation with them about it.
Althea and I had the pleasure of working together on their engagement session. Everything happened pretty fast that we didn't have the chance to meet in person. She's a wonderful bride to work with, and she gave me complete creative freedom when it came to creating her dried flower bouquet for their engagement shoot.
For her dried flower bouquet, she wanted something with a pop of color for the bouquet to stand out since their outfits were classic and minimal looks. She curated the looks herself and is something that they would wear daily. Their mood board reflects their personality as a couple.
Althea told me she wanted to be surprised and requested to have a "first look" at the dried flower bouquet I made her. A first look is the first time a bride and groom see each other before their wedding ceremony. It was a relief when she told me how much she loved it and how perfect the bouquet was for the shoot.
There's nothing more rewarding than knowing someone wants you and only you, for what you do.
Grateful for the trust we have been given, and it was truly an honor to create for you.
